Bard's Tale 1 - Tales of the Unknown is one of my favorite RPG games. You have to free your hometown Skara Brae from the grasp of the wizard Mangar. To do that you have to explore the city looking for clues and fight anything that comes your way(and that will be a lot). Your party can have up to six characters, and one special character. You can choose from 7 races and 10 classes for your characters, including of course the Bard, and 85 spells are available for you mages. You move your party in the city and the dungeons through a 3D-like interface. Enemy encounters are pretty frequent, so always be prepared for a fight, especially during the night or in a dungeon.
To sum it up, this is a straight-forward dungeon crawl. If you are into this type of game, you will definately enjoy it.
